By far my favorite Aunt made this for me in Alabama for years, everytime I would come into town and visit her she would have this pie ready, great days, I've had it since but it has never been as good as when she made it. Sitting in the kitchen, having long conversations about life and death. Great lady!


  • 1. 1.5 stick margarine
  • 2. 3 eggs, beaten
  • 3. 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4. 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 5. 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 6. pinch salt
  • 7. 1 pie shell, unbaked
  • Step 1 Melt margarine and add sugar and vinegar. Add mixture to beaten eggs. Mix in salt, and vanilla.
  • Step 2 Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake for 45 minutes at 325 degrees.
