Southern Bacon Bloody Mary

Southern twist to that famous morning-after drink
Ingredients
- 1. 4 large cans of tomato puree
- 2. 1/2 lb peppered or applewood smoked bacon
- 3. 1 cup Lemon Juice
- 4. 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 5. 6 Roasted Chipotle Chilies
- 6. Whole cloves of garlic, peeled and crushed
- 7. 2-4 Tbsps of hot sauce (Tabasco or Chahula
- 8. 4-6 tsp of Horseradish grated
- 8. 1 1/2 tbsp of sea salt
- 9. 2-3 Tsp of fine ground black pepper
- 10. 2 Tsp of celery salt
- 11. 1/2 - 1 Tsp of Cayenne Pepper
- 12. 1/2 Ground ginger
- 13. 2 Tbsp of olive juice
- 14. 12-14 ounces of vodka
Directions
- Step 1 In a large blender, puree all ingredients, except vodka and 2-4 pieces of bacon, together. Add vodka to desired strength. Pour over ice and garnish with a piece of bacon
