The Pickle Barrel In Chattanooga Tennessee, at the corner of Georgia Avenue and Market Street, stands one of the cities oldest and possibly most unique restaurants. The Pickle Barrel is based in an old triangle shaped building but don’t be afraid of its small stature. With all types of cuisine this quaint little build is dishing out some huge flavor. From its world-famous fried pickles to its larger than life sandwiches, this lovely little bistro will astound even the well-traveled foodie. While you’re there try one of the local craft beers they serve or one of my favorites, the Motorcycle Sidecar. Either way, you go you will never be disappointed. So, whether you are just passing through or happen to be in the city on business, don’t miss this great little hole in the wall with bigger than life history, and remember, you’re never lost, you are simply someplace you have never been.
